Every game of the postseason, I watch the @mariners.com and then I call my dad. I can’t tell you how much joy it gives me to talk to him afterwards and it has brought us closer. So to those who say sports are a distraction, I say every day I get with my dad is a gift. #tridentsup

For what it’s worth, @saracivian.bsky.social reminding me that the Ducks drafted McQueen who will wear 95 in honor of Lightning McQueen gave me great joy as a mom whose son was obsessed with Cars as a small boy.
