A gigantic dork, who just happens to serve as an NFL analyst for Bleacher Report and stewards the site's draft coverage/scouting department. What are the best things in life? Family, friends, football, comic books and good beer. It really is that simple.

To your point, I think a reason AEW went into a lull had nothing to do with the product. Simply put, it was longer the new, shiny object for wrestling fans. The product has never been outright bad, even during its down periods. Simultaneously, too many realized they can benefit by saying it is.
Stunned Gabriel went in the third round. Never felt he had the physical tools to succeed.

Whereas, Sanders has some traits. Not sure what is going on within the building, but the organization will need to see what he can do by the end of the season.

BREAKING: LSU is firing Brian Kelly, multiple sources tell @brucefeldmancfb.bsky.social.

Frank Wilson is expected to be the interim head coach.
Let me start by saying I believe Kevin Stefanski is a good coach. I do believe he's been too regimented in his approach without adjusting to talent. And the team has always been too sloppy under his direction, with too many unforced errors.

Honestly, I'm surprised this regime has lasted this long.
The Colts are real, but Indy's defense is soft. This fact hasn't been discussed enough because the offense has been so damn good.
Cleveland Browns already wasted the career of an all-time great in Joe Thomas, & they're well on their way to doing the same with Myles Garrett.

Today perfectly exemplifies how great he can be, yet it doesn't matter. All because the organization has been comically bad at finding a competent QB.

Nick Mangold, the former All-Pro center for the Jets who spent all 11 of his NFL seasons with New York, has died, the team announced on Sunday.

He was 41.
Mauigao is who I was referencing yesterday. He could stick at right tackle. But his skill set may make him a Pro Bowl guard.

Proctor's concerns are more technique/effort related rather than raw ability.

Dunker is a mess technically, specifically as a pass-blocker. He sits outside the Top 100.
That's an interesting question I can better answer tomorrow when B/R's initial Top 100 publishes. I'll check back. But there's one specific top OT prospect, who our Scouting Dept. currently has listed as the No. 1 interior option.
SUCKS to see Mike Evans' streak of 1,000-yard seasons end this way.

Still, a slam-dunk Hall of Fame inductee once he's ready to retire.
Mike Evans broke his collarbone, Todd Bowles says.

The Buccaneers’ star receiver is expected to miss most of the rest of the season.
The issue isn't constructive criticism, because we've gone well past that discourse a long time ago.

The real issue is the constant negativity, particularly from certain platforms or those with platforms.

Most AEW fans know it's not perfect. But the double-standard is obvious and irritating.
Had this same discussion with my son last night. It's utterly hilarious to think the idea he needs further in-ring development was a recent talking point.

BREAKING: Florida has fired head coach Billy Napier, @theathletic.com has learned.

Napier was 22-23 in four seasons.

His buyout is around $19 million, with no offset from another job. About $9.7 million is due within 30 days. The rest paid annually into 2028.
It'll never not be funny when the biggest and most consistent complaint about AEW PPVs from those paid to watch wrestling is the shows have...*checks notes*...too much wrestling.

As a fan and consumer, pack those shows with as much top-notch wrestling as possible, baby. Always get my money's worth.
Climbing. Really established himself in recent weeks. Chambliss is another.
Time to really push him. Have Yuta win consistently purely through cheating.
Switch between games and immediately see Farley. Damn near brought a tear to my eye. Miss that dude.

WR1 doing WR1 things.

Jordyn Tyson adjusts to a ball thrown behind him, maintains concentration to secure catch and absorbs contact to finish play.
I've been to plenty of NFL combines over the last 20 years. There's only one time I can remember when everyone in the media room turned to gawk at the sheer size of a player walking through the area.

Darnell Washington was that player.
Still laughing at everyone who vehemently argued that Drake London wouldn't be able to get open in the NFL.

Sources: After a brutal start to the season, the Titans have fired coach Brian Callahan.
Anyone else think Myles Garret is now contemplating what life would be like if he actually meant what he said last offseason and placed winning above a mega-contract (which he could have gotten somewhere else)?
The Indianapolis Colts signed veteran LB Germaine Pratt on Wednesday. He started on Sunday and recorded a game-high 11 tackles.
