These photos aren’t from our event, but we love having BSWAC at the Dyke March!
We had an amazing time marching and tabling at Boston Pride and Dyke March this weekend! 🌈

We honored the mothers of our movement, Sylvia Rivera & Marsha P. Johnson, two trans sex workers who played key roles in the Stonewall riot that started Pride.

We were moved to tears by all the cheers ❤️☂️

the cool thing about dyke march is that when so many people are masking, it is, for the most part, easy to get those who aren't masking to do so. i only had to ask a couple handfuls of people to do so & even then i wasn't saying "well you have to do it or leave" i was just asking if they needed one.
if they had, we would have had words with them.

everyone at the city knows we want them gone

It's wild contrasting the near all masked, fairly well spaced out Boston Dyke March Which I attended yesterday, and the crowded largely unmasked images from Boston Pride and No Kings today.
We will be posting an updated, high quality version and clips to youtube as soon as we finish editing it.

We're so glad you joined us (and that this let you watch the parts you missed).
Thank you @bostondykemarch.com for recording the livestream. I just watched @quatoria.bsky.social and the fire eating ceremony. 🔥

We keep us safe!! Here are our mask policies for this year’s march! We hope to see you masked and there on June 13!

After-action report: @bostondykemarch.com continues to be awesome. So full of love and joy and righteous fury and community. ❤️

(I'd say "can we do this every weekend?" but the organizing committee might never recover. Can other people organize things like this every weekend?)
yes and you should eat fire with us!

there’s only one way to top giving a fire speech at dyke march - and that’s by literally eating fire
