The breakout star of the original Ghostbusters, Slimer went from just some ghost to the mascot of the entire franchise and eventual star of the cartoon. He might have been Urkel-fied a bit at the end of the 80s, but that happened with a lot of comic relief characters back then.

Made my quarterly call to Sacred Heart University alumni to remind them that continuing to associate with a woman who’s gutted the special education department and its resources is an embarrassment — and not very Catholic-like.
