"He'll be another Fetterman" is also an outstanding smear maneuver in the scenario that he's the real deal. Other than scraping a bunch of old internet activity and hoping he still has (or doesn't have) the views he did when he posted it, I don't have any ideas for how to tell.

Well, it does seem to be down a little from the last poll I saw. And I've seen hints that the propaganda machine is starting to malfunction (Russian government being out of money is my best guess why), so the outer layers of the cult might start falling off soon.

Five bucks says that Russia will sell territory to stay solvent somewhere around the end of the war. Probably Eastern territory to China, but might be Crimea to Ukraine if Putin dies first. Any takers?

My electrician hat got a little bigger again today. I'm only actually up fifty bucks, but I also have 220 feet of 12-2 Romex that I didn't before, which will probably retain value better than dollars anyway.

They've ended the $100k-only scheme. You can get a CT at a price point that's not objectively insane for what it is now. Still a provably worse deal than any of the other electric trucks, but you can get one that's similar in lifetime cost of ownership to an F-150 now.

You can get a taste of this by becoming mediocre at almost any form of armed combat. I recommend the spear as a quick path toward "I could end that guy in one motion" that also keeps it pretty hypothetical because spears are huge and hard to carry.
