I'm pretty sure he isn't really injured. Two years is a ridiculous timetable for recovery from a broken leg, even if his bones were sticking out, which wasn't the case.

Andrade agreed to put Miro over to avoid having injury time added to his contract, but Miro moved to Bulgaria and refused to return until AEW released him immediately afterward, so that doesn't really count.

HHH basically announced that WWE doesn't want anyone putting anyone over in AEW, so everyone who leaves AEW refuses to wrestle for them for a while before their contract is up. Fans expect AEW to release anyone that WWE is interested in immediately, so it's a no-win situation for them.

It's WWE, so they are probably going just to announce that CM Punk is going to wrestle Drew McIntyre for the interim title instead of doing a tournament. Nobody will connect it to AEW doing the exact same thing because UFC does interim championships.

Usually, when something like this happens with a public figure, people have a bunch of screenshots of them posting weird stuff that makes sense in the context of their newly revealed politics. It is a bit odd that it isn't happening given how obsessed with AEW some WWE fans are.
