This election result can only mean one thing: a massive mandate for CA High-Speed Rail. $4B/yr for HSR please, Gavin

People respond to candidates who authentically care about them, who genuinely care about making their lives better, and have thought seriously about their problems and what it would take to solve them.

There’s a model here for anyone willing to emulate it.

All YIMBY ballot measures are currently winning in NYC by 10-point margins at least

the voters have spoken and they love being trans and threatening to shoot republicans in the head.

Voters really, really hate MAGA. And Trump. 2026 could resemble 1930 at this point, an election where Dems went +52 in the House and +8 in the Senate
lol. Amazing.

Live look at Trump this morning, whining about California
Coffee, breakfast burritos, and anti-ICE art? That's exactly what I'm looking for! Do we have any transgender coffee shops in DTLA?

For everyone riding mass transit around DTLA to get to the parade, you see how lots of people wanting to ride a train makes it economical to run more frequent trains which makes it far easier to get around the city? That's why we need to build apartments at all transit stops.

one of the most insane thing about partisan politics is that Republicans are allowed to say "these four million American citizens shouldn't get the representation they are entitled because it would be politically inconvenient for us" and nobody bats an eye
Johnson: "If they had no filibuster, they would pack the SCOTUS. You'd go from 9 to 17 or however many liberals they could pack. You would make DC & Puerto Rico into states, which would give 4 additional Democrat senators & make us a permanent minority. You'd see massive restrictions of 2A rights"

Congrats to Mark Walter, President of Guggenheim Partners and owner of the Dodgers, and his players Teoscar Hernández (Dominican Republic), Shohei Ohtani (Japan), Andy Pages (Cuba), Hyeseong Kim (South Korea), Kiké Hernandez (Puerto Rico), Yoshinobu Yamamoto (Japan), Roki Sasaki (Japan)...

America maintained hold of the World Series Championship because we attracted the skilled and willing from abroad.

Dodgers players this year were born in Japan, the Dominican Republic, Venezuala, Cuba, and South Korea, as well as in the US (including Puerto Rico).

Let's keep America attractive.

The Dodgers would be nothing and nobody without immigrants. They won this game - and this entire series - because of immigrants. In that sense, they represent the absolute best that this country has to offer.

I hope they remember all this when the White House invitation arrives.
Los Angeles suffered tremendously because of the wildfires. The president of the United States has wanted to make the immigrants who make the city suffer and declared war on the city. But all throughout it, L.A. makes it work daily. It’s a place where people go to make it. LA deserves this.
This is legal since it's well after 7pm, but shows why we need our bus lanes to all be 24 hours.
Protest has erupted next to Grand Hope Park in response to this letter and to Councilmember Jurado.

The people of this City want more transit. Of all types.
Some shit must be going on down Figueroa because the J Line just came down Olive
