Well: match A30 is a knife fight.
I've been mostly offline for a few days - is there a comment thread I'm not seeing?
Not what I expected but really good. It was a full-on rock show, kind of like Nine Inch Nails.
State Theatre, Portland Maine
I was planning to eat a gummy before the show and after hearing accounts from the tour, I think I'll pass.

Hipster group of death here, assume nothing is safe. Have to go with PSK, with Sleng Teng a victim of the Wesley Snipes meme.
I haven't voted for Run DMC yet, and while I would personally rather listen to Sade in 2025, I am going to assume they're safe and throw my vote to my favorite Run DMC track.
I don't know, I think Dub Side of the Moon is secretly pretty good. I'm looking forward to seeing what the Easy Star All Stars do with this album.
I remember as a kid when Rolling Stone celebrated the 20th anniversary of Sgt. Peppers in 1987 it seemed like a million years ago.
I saw that there is now a 20th anniversary edition of Animal Collective's "Feels" and figured that number had to be a misprint.
Weren’t people lamenting the loss of negative reviews just two weeks ago?
This was almost certainly leaked by the Democratic Party. They kept it under wraps until Mills entered the race.
Having a birthday today makes it surreal to see so many unrelated birthday wishes to Bob and Bobby on my timelines (referring to Mould and Weir, respectively).
Just picking one, I rank Eric B. and Rakim's "Let the Rhythm Hit Em" way up there for 90s albums; I've never once seen it on such a list.
a poll idea that just popped into my head: since we've collectively been doing 90's nostalgia for awhile as a culture, what's your secret/stealth best 90's album? not something necessarily widely super critically beloved but is nonetheless great and defining for you?
Rosemary’s Baby
Hellraiser
Don’t Look Now
The Bride of Frankenstein
Quote this with the first four Horror movies that come to your mind that are 10/10s for you. No cheating. Just the first four that pop into your head.

I'll go first:
-Silence of the Lambs
-I Saw the Devil
-Coherence
-Jaws
The other songs might be objectively better but I've always had a weak spot for "Basketball" so it gets my vote.
Rap has had some rough draws in this poll, but I have zero problem going Whodini here.
Set It Off in a walk for me. I was starting to think "this is great but I don't know about 10 minutes great" when it hit that amazing left turn at the 6 minute mark.
