Politics is an even worse spectacle when they all start going off about a subject you actually know something about. Makes you wonder how clueless they must be about all the other stuff they pontificate about.
Iain Duncan Smith says when Maccabi played a game in Istanbul there was no trouble at all

@ianbyrnemp.bsky.social had to point out UEFA moved the game to Hungary after the Turkish authorities refused to stage it &the Hungarian authorities then played it behind closed doors. Hence no trouble
Pizza Hut is literally double the price per pizza than Rudy's in Manchester, and it is not in the same calibre.

If Keir starmer really wants to prove he’s not antisemitic he’ll riot with Maccabi Tel Aviv. Anything less he may as well be Hamas.
Also a giant Hello Kitty teddy.
Some version of eat out to help out 2.0, whether its cutting vat on hospitality, or subsidising in some form, feels like it has potential.
Mark Bonnar has forgot it's a game, and thinks he's genuinely hunting murderers.
Da Vinci had loads of porn drawings
And while belt and road has existed for what, 15 years now?
Like most Nolan films it does kinda fall in on itself in the final act though.
I believe this was fairly common practice among telephone customer services work circa 10-15 years ago.
I believe the internet term is "weebs".
At some point we have to believe that what he believes is what he's been saying for the past 8 months.
Agree. Non-polarised issues can become polarised over time - particularly if a party latches into it (in this case Reform), and suddenly the settled consensus becomes more tribal.
Now, what happens after Namond moves in with Bunny on the other hand...
When Namond visits him in s4, Bey asks if he's feeding the fish, and he says yes. There are fish tanks all over Namond's house, too.
When I researched mine I found this to be mostly the case for mine too. Except for a great uncle who was captured during the battle of Crete in 1941, and spent the rest of the war in an Austrian POW camp.

Only other record I found was a great grandfather who'd served in India in the 1880s.
I know one of his uncles was a military research guy during WW2. Not sure if you can count that as 'military service' but it would definitley fall under contributing to the war effort.
Pinned Lists also removes the ad spam. Only tolerable way to use the place.
Twitter melts the brains of the people who make policy - ergo influences policy.
This has to be a case of either "mistaking my old fringe opinion for consensus" or "inventing a guy to be mad at", surely.

Nothing stopping them from also attacking them for being anti democracy - just don't neglect the bread and butter stuff to do it.

Common ground and shared goals are important.

But here's the thing.

If my starting point is "let's be nice to everyone" and yours is "let's deport all the browns and create a white supremacist ethnostate,"

...then I've got to be honest, I'm not really sure it's my job to put the work in here!
I won't pretend to understand the appeal - mechanically, however.
