this plus all trans women are expected to act as some sort of vanguard party for gender abolition. if we act like a normal woman then we are regressive misogynsts appealing to the male gaze for wearing make up and an outfit that shows off our cute boobs and asses or some shit

the concept has been weaponized by (crypto)terfs and made its way in that form into the queer community. Basically it's treatment of masculinity as the default and discouragement of medical transition redressed into progressive language of gender abolition

being an ML/AI girlie right now is like if you were a marine biologist and suddenly everyone is obsessed with octopi and asking questions like "should we give octopi jobs and make them in charge". and you're like. well. here's why that's not as bad as that sounds

like im sorry this dude fabricated a chin and jawline that isnt there irl because if you actually drew her as she looks you might mistake her for cis and we cant have that

im transsexual and intersex in that my fully formed male genitalia pushed my first puberty one way despite having some degree of both, so i still had to transition

people who are intersex and people who are transsexual need our life saving meds but if we talk about that we're told we're being awful

The phenomenon examined in that article is everywhere. It is not hard to find random examples in prominent places of this shit. This is the sort of image what people who dominate LGBT+ representation want to represent trans women.

You are really quick to call her scum about it though. That's cool.
real person's unironic sincere instagram post btw
it's not very different. Why would a trans woman want to be around people who see trans women this way?
I would say the fact that most depictions of trans women by people within the queer community can be summed up as "big manly men with lots of body hair that try to do drag and fail miserably" means there is a problem with the community, not with trans women
think about it this way: what if someone drew art of you depicting you as fully bearded, muscular, bald, with chest hair etc and then insisted it is a respectful depiction of you and called your hurt transphobic? Like really, think about it.
