Hey y’all- a great, small rescue in Austin can use some help. They’re trying to get a badly injured kitten from the border up to Austin. If you’ve got a few bucks to add, that would be huge.

And yet another precious life is hanging in the balance.

Believe it or not, we truly loathe asking for help as often as we have been lately. But right now, another kitten desperately needs us — and whether we can step up depends on what our supporters are willing to make possible.

This little one is currently at Palm Valley Animal Shelter. She was brought in by animal control after being found stuck in a fence for three days. Her right front leg was already gone — amputated by trauma — with bone exposed. 💔

With no veterinarian on staff, the shelter has no means to provide the care she urgently needs. She’s been given an END OF DAY deadline — 5PM today, October 16th. Without a rescue stepping up, her story will end there.

We want to say yes. We want to bring her to safety.
But to do that, we need your help.

We’ll need funds for transport, our rockstar volunteer transporter Jessica has already agreed to make the drive for us, a surgical amputation to clean and close her wound, and ongoing care. If our community can rally behind her, even just a few dollars at a time, we can tell the shelter she’s safe and on her way to healing.

I think I've said this before, but it bears repeating: Anime needs to go back to having 1-3 word titles that don't explain the plot or really have anything to do with the theme of the show at all.

Stop trying to fit the plot/theme in the title of the show.

I'm mad at all the wasted potential of Deadly Towers, especially in the era it was released.

Everything about it was so cool and open and kinda scary, but then you played it and it just sucked ass so bad.
