This is the most middle-of-the-road sector of the US antifascist movement, the largest and I predict the gatherings will be massive + impossible to ignore. Ordinary Americans saying a loud fuck no. If we are loud enough + strong enough this early, we may be able to forestall a much harder battle.

I checked the price of a nearby uncovered parking lot, $120/month, which is low. So Seattle could certainly get more for street parking.

HHS has eliminated EVERY SINGLE SAFEGUARD FOR DATA PROTECTION AT CDC. Giving data to CDC is no longer safe and puts your residents at risk.

Unless and until all CDC’s data protections are restored you should consider CDC a bad actor.

Friday RFK Jr fired everyone working on the CDC's Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report. The MMWR published the first report on AIDS in 1981, + has been in continuous print under its current title since 1952. 73 years of critical reporting to protect the public health destroyed by a massive quack.

Was just at a neighborhood school at dismissal. Hundreds of people with whistles surrounding the school and stationed down every block making sure ICE doesn’t snatch anyone. The same is happening at all the schools around here. I love my neighborhood and I love Chicago.
