Donald, one must have an IQ to lose IQ points. And Trump can’t lose what he never had.

He has four friends?

It’s money laundering. Trump gives them the money, they keep half and they invest the other half in Trump’s Crypto scam. Crooked as hell.

I think of it as money laundering. The US gives them $40 million, Argentina invests $20 million back into Trump’s Crypto scam and then they wait for the next chance to do it again.

Makes me think that most of those young republicans don’t make it out of their parents basements on a daily basis. They hide anonymously behind their keyboards.

Every deal Trump has completed makes money for himself. There’s a good chance that every tariff had a secret crypto arrangement hidden. Everything he does is transactional.

Topics Mike Johnson thinks are serious:

- Super Bowl halftime entertainer
- getting a Nobel Prize for Trump
- terrifying naked bike riders

Topics he thinks are not serious:

- Epstein Files
- domestic violence
- being able to keep the govt open
- the neutering of Congress

Q: This has been reported for a while. Cory Mills was accused of beating a girlfriend in his DC apt. Are you concerned about these allegations?

JOHNSON: You have to ask Rep. Mills about that. He's been a faithful colleague. I don't know the details. Let's talk about things that are really serious

It could be a scary weekend. I hope not. But I do think something will happen before the midterms.

I used to think of Trump as a dick. Now I’m confused.

Major news outlets are standing together and refusing to sign. ABC News, CBS News, CNN, Fox News, and NBC News have all rejected a new Pentagon policy that would impose unprecedented restrictions on news gathering.

- It deprives Americans of truth. The public’s right to know how our military operates (especially in matters of war, spending, and policy) would be severely weakened.
- It risks creating state-approved media. When only “authorized” information is allowed, journalism becomes propaganda.

This Indigenous Peoples' Day, California celebrates the contributions, cultural vibrance and adaptability of all Indigenous people who now call California home.
I, Gavin Newsom, Governor of the State of California, do hereby proclaim October 13, 2025 as Indigenous Peoples’ Day. California again proclaims this day as Indigenous Peoples’ Day, the seventh formal celebration of the strength of culture and the memory of land that endure for all Indigenous people who now call California home, from those who originate from and maintain deep relationships with these lands and waters, to those who have carried the gifts of their languages, cultures, foods, and families across oceans, borders, and generations.

On this Indigenous Peoples’ Day, we resoundingly cheer the indomitable fortitude, cultural vibrance, and adaptability of Indigenous peoples from across the globe who call this place home, even as their souls resonate with lands and waters of their ancestral homelands.

NOW THEREFORE I, GAVIN NEWSOM, Governor of the State of California, do hereby proclaim October 13, 2025 as “Indigenous Peoples’ Day.”

Just west of Fort Qu’Appelle in Saskatchewan, the Standing Buffalo Dakota Nation is working across the US border to revive centuries-old trade routes as part of a new Indigenous-governed trade corridor.

From our friends at @nationalobserver.com:
Indigenous nations plan a tariff-free trade corridor across the US-Canada border
