So, do we “flit” or “flutter” here?
And the handwashing was largely irrelevant. Many scientists already had taken aboard how Covid is transmitted and were urging masking - which Johnson resisted until it was sadly far too late.
Yet others like me were scrambling to order good masks from early January for my household when it became clear what was coming our way. Took many weeks for them to arrive, but they certainly helped save our lives.
But we all remember how little my it took for her to dare to go upstairs 😀
I suspect they forgot their glasses in the voting booth.
I, btw, am well over 50 and voted Remain.
(I should add, too, that the older you are the more you remember the old stories about butter mountains, etc, that made some hostile in the early years of membership, but who forgot how things settled down and the advantages received from our membership. Much stoked by hostile dumb Conservatives)

PS Turning Point would seem to be a massive danger for the future of the US.
You might want to read this thread on X. It is very enlightening- and scary - but a must read to get insight into the strategy

Sorry to have to share this but this evidence that the leader of the free world has gone insane is apparently not newsworthy to the BBC, the Times etc
Trump posts AI video showing him literally dumping shit on America
Such a lovely photo of you & your sister. Given that she has gone, it must feel doubly precious. I cherish the photos I have of my family - and even the ones of me as a young child. It helps keep me grounded.
And seeing your grandchildren (as we do) I am always struck by their likeness to you.
You are so right about this. I’ve taken to printing off some of my favourite photos - I can’t bear to think I’ll lose them. Just finding them on a phone or other device can take hours!

Beautifully told. Thanks for sharing
Life on X has just got more surreal as I find myself arguing with Grok (who, btw, is clearly tutored by his Master Elon)😂🤣
Glad to hear that your back shows some improvement
Last night’s death wasn’t suicide, if I listened correctly
He wouldn't survive 5 minutes on the London Tube.
