Alright, what I'll do is just move on and stop worrying about this. I'll continue to do tests and enjoy some matches in BF6, and if the problem is gone then I can say it was the upscalers causing driver issues perhaps. I will do a weight gain drive soon to make a lot of money to set aside. <3

I really feel like ever since that incident, your life just got messed up. I really wish people didn't just jump to conclusions about what you are or aren't going to do just on words alone, or what you believe or don't believe. Please hang in there, don't give up, and you'll find an audience. <3

So it seems that maybe this entire time, some games don't play nicely with upscaling for whatever reason, and cause graphical artifacts. Perhaps a driver issue, I don't know.

DLSS doesn't work right in BF6, it will sharpen and upscale a couple of random horizontal bars of the screen but not the rest. Or, it will work at first then suddenly turn into that state a few moments later. The graphical artifacts that look like VRAM issues will also occur, and with XeSS too.

It's funny, I usually turn DLSS on with each new game, just because I think it looks better because it sharpens the image and improves performance. But it seems BF6 already runs so damn good on high settings I don't even need upscaling anyway. Hm. DLSS is already implemented poorly in the game.

Okay, happily played some matches with no problems in Battlefield 6. Now, it seems to be the upscalers causing problems. NVIDIA's DLSS, and Intel's XeSS. I'm not sure why, but it will cause graphical artifacts to occur. With upscaling turned off, the game is fine. Huh.

I will have to confirm by playing a few VRAM intensive games. Or Doom: The Dark Ages again. I quit playing Doom: The Dark Ages because the graphical issues worried me and ruined the experience. I don't know if it needed to be patched or if it was the same problem with the VRAM.

Also, remember, my temperatures are good. The GPU isn't overheating, neither is the CPU or anything else. So I don't get what is going on.

I'm going to need to consider doing a weight gain drive to earn a ton of money. Especially at this rate. Because I'm not sure if I need to get a new PC or not. This problem doesn't affect every game, but it seems to be VRAM intensive games having issues.

Silent Hill F wasn't having a single problem. I'm not sure why some games are doing this. It always involves either the UI getting corrupted, geometry/entities disappearing, rainbow squares appearing on textures or in the skybox, or some specific textures becoming rainbow textures.

I really seriously can't afford a new PC, let alone one that is better or as good as what I have now. I'm worried the GPU is either dying, or has issues with the VRAM. I first encountered issues with Doom: The Dark Ages, then now Battlefield 6. It only seems to happen in some games.

Doom: The Dark Ages also had nasty problems that forced me to quit, where I ran into the UI glitching, objects glitching and then disappearing, or other issues. Really this is fucking stupid if 12GB of VRAM is no longer enough to run games properly.

Then there's the skybox turning into colorful squares and appearing through geometry, and other issues such as objects disappearing. I have a RTX 4070 with 12GB of VRAM, there is no way I don't have enough VRAM. Turning down the settings doesn't seem to lower the VRAM use which is at 7GB at most.

Battlefield 6 is great. But it seems to have a few nasty problems, like DLSS not working right and sort of causing this weird VHS effect where some sharpened horizontal lines appear but other areas are still blurry. Then there's graphical glitches such as textures going rainbow colors.
