They are equating speaking out against their policies as equal to Jan 6. That speaking out against sheltering pedos and shutting down the govt are the same as violent insurrection.

Reagan told the GOP to be gleefully cruel. To enact hurtful policies and defame minorities with a giggle and a smile.

Bush Jr. allowed the GOP to be gleefully ignorant. To ignore facts and embrace lies with joyous applause.

This is the result: a callous and stupid movement.
