Yeah like. I like Unleashed a ton! Lots! It’s my 2nd favorite! Secret Rings only did well critically for wii novelty. It is a mess. 06 also is still being reeled from 19 years later. Let’s call it what it is

Look, I get that there are people who are sentimental about this game. And those who admire what it could have been. I am both of those to be honest.

But I'm sorry. There's a good reason why this game is often considered the start of the series lowering average trajectory.

I think open city is something you worry ab initially but like. If there’s any city they can scale up, it’s Lumiose. Kalos’s anime and manga both made the story cool and around Zygarde. The lore already is good and can be expanded on. Idk. I have hope

I replayed xy last year and like. Yeah the core story is buns. Lysandre’s the one interesting part besides AZ. But the game’s like, fun. Kalos has a lot of life and culture and lore! The postgame story is absolutely fire and I’m glad it’s being the inspo in ZA. Lumiose itself is so rich

“Why do you care ab story spoilers for pokemon” ignoring that gens 5, 7, and 9 have genuinely good stories, probably bc this is a sequel to the one game where characters fucking died that also has neat lore but desperately needs a better story ingame, since both Anime and Manga cooked
