Imagine the reaction if you put something that looked even vaguely like this on a vaguely leftist punk or rap album in the past 35 years.
I don’t have words

Couldn’t find him over here but this video from @andyricflair on the other site is amazing. 🤼
And now some rich asshole just bought a property that needs to be investigated to keep us from going in so that we can’t prove his bratty son is a murderer.

That is… the most realistic aspect of this case so far.
Holy crap, this interrogation goes on forever.

I’m starting to see why people don’t care for this case. It’s really poorly paced and it’s leading to a conclusion that you drew a long time ago.

EXCLUSIVE: One Saturday afternoon in October, my phone lit up with a notification.

I glanced down at the message.

“Anna, Lindsey Halligan here,” it began.

So began my text exchange with the woman who is prosecuting the president's perceived political enemies.

Imagine being the contractor here trying to hire out for work after this.

Client: “So what work have you done before?”

Contractor: “Oh, our most recent notable job was demolishing the White House.”

Client: “…”
It’s amazing how just one picture can really capture it all, huh?
Scoop: Trump has started demolishing the White House's East Wing facade to build his ballroom. The president had claimed construction of the $250 million building wouldn’t ‘interfere’ with the existing White House structure. /W @ddiamond.bsky.social wapo.st/4hqBNiU

But yeah, at some point you do get sick of her shtick.

Wendy having a crush on Edgeworth is a funny joke for about five minutes, but when they keep harping on it, as well as her constant orneriness, it can get annoying.
OH NO! Now Wendy Oldbag is here!?

Look, I wasn’t as annoyed with her as a lot of other people seemed to be. Again, it’s one of those goofy parts of the series that’s fun to watch Edgeworth react to.

And really, I guess you can’t have a game revolve around Miles Edgeworth and not bring her in.
Okay, Ema Skye is here. That kind of makes up for Mike Meekins.

But this game takes place before the events of Apollo Justice, so she’s not yet the jaded detective she becomes in that game.

The whole point of democracy is so one person's derangement does not become everybody's problem. It's social hygiene. The fact the richest men in the West are a mix of grotty twelve year olds and deranged apocalypse fanatics is a problem, and we should be honest about it.
NOOOOOOOOOO! NOT MIKE MEEKINS! WHY IS HE HERE!?
First impressions of Kay Faraday: She’s fine. Someone like her can be a fun foil for Edgeworth to work off of. It is always fun to the always strait-laced, stern Edgeworth work off the goofier aspects in the series.

Of course, we had that with him and Gumshoe, but okay…

"The evil Jew is funding the entire US left" is a piece of rank, obvious antisemitism that we have just collectively decided to accept in public, because IOKYR.
Ernst: "I think it is extremely important that we look at who is funding these protests. We have to get to the bottom of this. It could be the usual suspect -- George Soros."

The Speaker of the House: “Trump isn’t a King yet, but he should be if you want the government to function!”
Mike Johnson: "The irony was that they called it the No Kings Rally, but if President Trump was a king, the government would be open. If President Trump was a king, he would've closed the nationals parks and the National Mall so they couldn't of had the rally out here."
So the next case is… oh…

The Kidnapped Turnabout.

Yeah, I’ve heard the tales about this one. This is up there with the most hated of Ace Attorney cases like Turnabout Big Top and Turnabout Serenade.

But like I did with those, I will try to keep an open mind.
And there was good chemistry between her and Edgeworth. At first she thinks he’s the murderer, but helps him when she finds he’s innocent. But when suspicion falls on her, Edgeworth is determined to prove her innocence.
Finished Turnabout Airlines.

This was a pretty good case. The setting of a murder on an airplane is a good one. And there were some interesting turns.

Rhoda Teneiro was a good character who wants to solve the murder because she feels it’s her responsibility since it happened on her flight.

Unsolicited writing advice: no. 8075: There is no such thing as serious writing. There are only writers who take their work seriously, and those who don’t. Tragedy is no more “serious” than comedy. Children’s writing is no less “serious” than writing for adults. Good writing is wherever you find it.

The president of the United States posted a video of him defecating on the American people. Many in my profession normalized it. This is a big reason why we are where we are.

Q: Why are my electricity bills going up?

A: You are likely (a) in a region impacted by Trump tariffs and retaliatory price hikes in electricity from Canada, or (b) in a region subsidizing billionaire-owned data farms for AI or crypto mining.

It’s not because of immigrants or drag queens.
Well, that was certainly worth it.
