yeah, I get it for sure — like, she’s the biggest pop star on the planet but for the time being, the songs aren’t in ads or anything so you have to make a conscious effort to listen to them, whereas previously they would just be everywhere. I just think it’s super interesting

oh yeah, that’s a good example of another strange thing about the current age — some ten-year-old song that goes viral on TikTok will crack the billboard charts because millions of people listen to it, and I’ll be like “wait, why is that on there? I actually know that one” lol

when I used to drive to work I could at least put the radio on in the car, but now you have to go out of your way to *stream a radio station*, which most people obviously do not do lol
