I was at a farmer's market a couple weeks back and there was a tent who was just selling handmade monsters. All one-of-a-kind, from plushies to human size. Never seen anything like it

When your GPS says you'll be 15 minutes late, tell people you're running 15 to 20 minutes late, not 10 to 15 minutes late. The latter does help you save face in the moment, but it's what I do, and if too many people do it then it gets less believable

Bringing back this thread. These so-called "crime free ordinances" are getting worse. They're the most racist laws you've never heard of, and they're most prevalent in BLUE states. And they're spreading.

A couple of years ago, a client of mine was attacked in their apartment by an abusive partner. The police were called. Charges were pressed against the abusive partner, who later pleaded guilty.
The landlord filed an eviction action against Client for *allowing* a crime to occur in their unit.
