Cis People in my family, friend group, and spiritual community have been awesome throughout my transition. But they don't know what trans people are experiencing right now, and I have to be the one to tell them when they ask me how I'm doing. Its always a shock. WHY? Are you living in a box?

Newsom vetoes both the PreP access and the HRT stockpile bill because he is worried it would increase healthcare costs...

He claims to support the aims of these bills. But the vetoes deny access to medical care for queer people.

I mean...sure. But a lot of people couldn't read or write their own names and/or didn't have papers with the correct spelling when they got to Ellis. So they were spelled wrong on the census. My grandmas first husband had Rourke as a sir name, but it was actually O'Rourke.
