What is it about train rides that makes it so easy to focus? Way better than a flight.

It's like all the best parts of a cafe but with added stimulus from motion. Especially nice with the view of foliage this time of year. 🍁

JEAN-BAPTISTE EMMANUEL ZORG!

I still think he has one of the coolest designs of a sci-fi villain.

Had no idea We're Back was based on a book! One of those animations I felt like I hallucinated as a kid because so many of my friends growing up hadn't heard of it.

Did you know that the movie “We’re Back! A Dinosaur’s Story” is based on the book by Hudson Talbott?

You can borrow the book AND the movie from your local library! 🦕📖🦖

I took one philosophy course and there were about 3 of these types there. That they were women did not make them any less insufferable.

The type to love listening to themselves talk but don't think about the systemic and ethical ramifications at all.

Yeah, the humanities alone can't save us.

Thiel is the guy who sits in the front of the philosophy class who spends his whole time thinking he's clever but not actually learning anything. He makes half arguments. He's a major, but the faculty loathe him.

YES! Great book too. Need to revisit it.

I do love sticky notes! It's so easy to move them to a different notebook. Or revisit them for an essay.

I have read that there might be some cognitive benefits to writing marginalia, but I always wonder how returning the book feels when you've already marked it up.

Can you still form new ideas as you've changed, or do your old notes kind of haunt your interpretation?

I can't bring myself to write in my books, so I keep notebooks. But... Muji has refillables now?!

Haha The Butterfly Effect had an "alternate ending" as an extra on the DVD.

I just really miss pop up video. The ability to unlock trivia (and bloopers!) would be fun.

I think something must have happened to my brain in the last 5 years, because I can't stomach horror like I used to.

I stopped watching sadomasochistic films like Saw and Texas Chainsaw Massacre a long time ago, but now, even sci fi horror is incredibly unsettling.

My heebs' been jeebed!
