Projection is the rule, not the exception. This is the dynamic to which Vedic sages & other mystics are referring when stating we see the world as •we• are, not as •it• is. Far more often than not, one sees this in others, not oneself - to our detriment and the detriment of others.🌐#SelfRealization
The thing about people with authoritarian brains and hierarchical worldviews is that they are incapable of conceptualizing more inclusive worldviews. Therefore, they can only project what they can conceptualize, which is that those that are inclusive must be faking it for some hidden purpose
It’s like helping an arsonist destroy a national forest that sits on ancient tribal land.

More than you know.

Your public advocacy travels far.
Significant finding with profound implications. #COVID
Will COVID infection in men cause epigenetic changes to their children?

New data from mice gives a clue.
In mice, prior COVID infection in males can affect anxiety in offspring by passing on altered RNA in sperm which reprograms gene expression in the hippocampus of the offspring’s brains. buff.ly/hUz5dIh

Truer words were never spoken.

Somewhere in my 35 open tabs are four unpublished posts addressing this very subject.
Funny how that works out. Not ha-ha funny, though. But it is remarkable how frequently the characteristics we’re punished for turn out to be personal strengths and societal deficiencies.
Very rarely do people listen to warnings requiring fundamental change. We persist in illusion until it becomes unsustainable. By the time the warning signs are read, they’re conditions.
Not to brag, but not being white enough is one of my most redeeming features. The other three are not being ambitious enough, not being rich enough and not having, doing, knowing or being enough in the eyes of people who don’t know what “enough” means. No fucks given. Still here.

No Kings on San Francisco Bay!
To any Negative Nellies eager to share their defeatism: Settle down. It’s only a thought exercise. Unless it turns out United Statists are somehow capable of committing to the solidarity they claim to support, in which case, it would be a very different thing: an edifying act of self-preservation.
How would the dominos fall if even half the people turning out for NO KINGS cancelled streaming subscriptions and refused to purchase non-essentials for 6 to 8 weeks. At the very least, it would be a useful preparation for withstanding the sustained economic collapse slogging over the horizon.
South Koreans held their government accountable earlier this year. And now they’re protesting for American’s rights and democracy on No Kings too!

Thank you South Korea! #NoKings ❌👑
Oh, I gotcha. Didn’t take it any other way.🌞
Better late than never.

I stand corrected - and, yet, the point stands.

As Supreme Court kills Voting Rights Act, worth remembering Court empowered the Klan to overthrow Reconstruction govts by gutting civil rights laws in 1870s

As DW Griffith boasted in Birth of a Nation, Klan killed it at point of a gun stopping black people from voting

NO KINGS being conspicuously omitted from the TRENDING sidebar really puts last month's Grief Mandate from Bluesky Management in perspective.

More than 300,000 Black women have lost their jobs this year, and the NAACP says it is no coincidence. From abandoned DEI promises to systemic disinvestment, this crisis is by design. Economic rights are civil rights. Accountability and action cannot wait!
