I love the stuff I came up with when making lots of toys for tiny people-- I could just do whatever and they liked it, so there were some very odd decisions made with scrap fabrics.

I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.

certainly more to come from me when the dust has settled more, but to my knowledge, after today, there will be no politics staffers at Teen Vogue.

Student forgot the power cord for her serger lesson, giving me the first-time opportunity to try hand-cranking a serged seam (with the hand wheel). It worked! My wrist hurts 😂 but it was illuminating to know how useful these machines are designed to be, even without a power source! It was cool.

It might have been posted on the bad place, but does anyone remember a fantastic series of tweets about what it means to be a masculine protector, how to really protect your family-- and it was specifics on how much laundry you needed to do, teach your kids to wash their hands, so much food prep.
