I'm not ashamed to be trans, I never could be, but sometimes I wish people would see me as a man, and not just a trans man
I cant describe the feeling of knowing I will never be "man enough" in peoples eyes, that I will forever have to prove to others I'm a man

it feels like being seen as lesser, especially as a pre-transition trans man this hurts a lot
it reminds me of a past friend ending his sentence with "once you are a man" or another telling me "you don't wanna know what my family things of people like you" when I asked him to respect my pronouns

I've been thinking a lot lately about being trans in a very cis environment and how it affect me mentally
just how the smallest comments can hurt immensely, feeling like a constant reminder that lot of people will always capitalize the trans part of me being a trans man
