All that, and the nearest anything is 48 hours away if an emergency, should the weather be absolutely perfect, and the one plane we have that can go there with the pilot who knows how to fly it is available.

Bush Alaska is a wonderful place, but it has unbreakable rules and is not a place for many.

Debating selling most, if not all of my large format kit. I love doing it, but might be best if I leave it to others going forward (bummer). Thinking about maybe replacing with a Leica M3 and some good glass. Small rangefinder will be more usable at least, and let me keep playing with light. 🤷‍♂️
