While I have never been tempted to roleplay my potato, I love him so much that I felt compelled to make a detailed pair of reference sheets.
I mainly did this to make requesting commissions of him that much easier, but it's also just a good intro for my little bean.

Changing appearance her because of the trauma associated with the harm that version of her nearly did when she didn't have control over it. No longer seeing that version of herself in the mirror everyday would be a good way to heal.
Yeah, I see how that could be a choice she made. Smart.

Big same in my case. I swapped Reliq from Halone to Nald'Thal to better fit the lore I was developing for him and tweaked his skin tone slightly.
<_< I did pay to change his skin tone back, though, because it was throwing me off something fierce.

Ooooh. While she might have been able quell and assimilate the Light poisoning, there's no reason to believe it wouldn't have some lingering side-effect.
I've liked seeing people's interpretations of the scars or even abilities it might have left behind.

Personally, what little tinkering I've done with Reliq were purely cosmetic and superficial or little bits that better fit the lore I've established for him.
I refuse to do too much explicitly because I worry about developing some dysphoria towards him.

Nor should you, in my opinion. A disability is often as integral to a person any other part that makes up who they are.
I've just been contemplating potential side-effects or uses for fantasia that the game doesn't consider.

And, yeah, I can understand wanting to consider that change for Azem. I hadn't considered it before, but it is odd how the embodiment of the sun would be so pale.

Correct on both accounts, not that it was hard to tell. 🤭

In the first case, a boundary the two set is that Nananji wouldn't use their relationship to make a biography about him, so his digging worries Reliq.

In the second, Reliq is just a touch-starved cuddle fiend and can't help himself.

Crimes?! How scandalous!
I jest, I often use "crimes" to develop my image for secondary characters that obviously aren't in the game but are important to Reliq's story.

As we've started to get free Fantasia's in the game, I've been considering how Reliq might use them for personal and likely temporary changes.
Alternatively, I can see how an image-conscious WoL might use them to heal otherwise permanent damage, remove scars, or for deceptive reasons like espionage.

For the players, is there some special meaning behind using a Fantasia?
Has your WoL used them for particular lore reasons?
Is it a way to better reflect how they've changed over the story?
Do you use it as a way to pass the WoL baton on to a new character you can play as?

While both statements are "wrong," one is just the character being passive-aggressive about something that happened and the other is just a bold-faced lie about something that doesn't.

I think Reliq would gravitate toward "smart casual" or "dark academia" fashion. The first is a good placeholder style with plenty color variation options for a visual pop. The second is more his style but also a long coat and billowing scarf would do a lot to add animation his small frame.

In general, I don't mind Zero. They're written kind of clunky but I appreciate how they develop over time.
It's almost like the WoL and other characters are a good influence or something.

I feel it'd be weirdly appropriate if Urianger or Thancred was there to intercede. Zero's "nature" or sense or morality is roughly equivalent to that of the fae in the First, or classical Fae in general, really.
Equivalent exchange is the law. Failure to comply is an insult and warrants death.

Just took a moment to remember that one of their big plot points recently was been more or less being passive-aggressive toward each other over certain developments.

Reliq adores that Nananji has taken such a keen interest in his personal life. He's just so talented at finding old acquaintances, friends, and family to learn everything he possibly could.

Nananji appreciates Reliq's ability to show some restraint and respect his personal space when he's working.
