The UK got the vaccine roll out done very efficiently. Everything they did after that was a disaster. Thousands died due to their incompetence. The inquest into their actions is still in progress.

Ending fossil fuels isn't just about climate change; it's also about health. Researchers found that after a coal-processing facility near Pittsburgh shut down, emergency department visits for respiratory issues dropped 20% in the following month!

Well now, would you look at that?

A massive study of NEARLY 300,000 people in the United States found that receiving an updated 2024-2025 mRNA COVID-19 vaccine REDUCED people’s risk of severe disease AND death in ALL age groups, REGARDLESS of immunity from prior infection or vaccination.
I also spent some time removing the manual exchanges that you fitted!

If anyone needs me I will be in the museum, lying down next to the bog bodies.
Did people really memorize phone numbers before cell phones, or is that just a movie thing?
2? Questions
I was watching some old shows from the 90s and noticed people would just dial numbers from memory - like they'd call their friends or family without looking anything up.
Made me wonder if that was actually normal back then? Did people genuinely have all their important numbers memorized, or did most folks keep a little address book or written list nearby?
My first job was installing these.

Hey @jaketapper.bsky.social, I'm no expert on cognitive illnesses, but it feels a bit detached from reality for a sitting POTUS to forget that he was in power during an attack on the U.S. Capitol, doesn't it? Do you know anyone in journalism with experience covering dementia-like symptoms?
Don't lie. It's the Daleks! They're coming aren't they? Damn!

The only way we turn this ship around is to reach these voters. If you're in the "fuck them" crowd, you're part of the problem, not part of the solution.
The problem to be fixed is not those that voted for Trump. Most of them are either delusional or in complete denial. The problem to be fixed, is those who did not vote.
RFK couldn't even qualify for a 'being Noble' prize!
Great article. Shows what the future may hold.
Eg. Sunny day outside on the campus, perovskite covering on your laptop exterior.
(Perhaps they can even be fitted to cover my head bald spot & recharge my hearing aids.😁)
All green.
