Even though the UK film industry is posh and getting posher, it’s rare to find a filmmaker who wears their old school tie with pride. In fact most work quite hard to keep it tucked away.

This has led to an inside-baseball game among some industry insiders: add someone’s public school, peerages etc. to their Wikipedia or IMDB Pro and see how long it takes them or their team to delete it.

Currently holding the gold for fastest deletions is film director Harry Lighton (Eton, Oxford, father is Sir Thomas Hamilton Lighton, 9th Baronet of Merville).

But this does explain why in his new BDSM romcom, Pillion, starring Alexander Skarsgard, Harry seems to think you’d find a barbershop quartet in a British boozer.

The government aims to double the number of highly skilled people coming to the UK on our high skilled routes, including the best researchers, designers, and creatives working in film and TV to ensure continued competitiveness in growth sectors. I'm reminded of... this anecdote might not be worth the characters but that's never stopped me before! Anyway when I was going post-grad work I was a teaching assistant (roughly equivalent to running tutorials) for a large "intro to international relations theory" class.

I’m not quite sure how to put this, but Battlefield 6 would be a helluva lot more interesting if it really had a forcefem dynamic.

A screenshot shows a tweet by user Grummz. In the top tweet, Grummz expresses disappointment, saying:
