I've been writing my own engine, wheel & suspension physics for my Godot driving game, there's a lot to improve, but I'm really proud to reach this point - #godotengine #gamedev

Godot Racing Game Prototype - New Physics (WIP)

(sorry for the poor video quality) - I was previously using Godot's built-in vehicle components for my racing game prototype, but I knew from the start I'd eventually need to write my own. The physics are far from complete - tire friction, engine inertia, gear shifting and much more all need to be improved, but in its current state, this feels like a significant milestone.
