While I've been taking a break from jewelry and have been obsessed with making miniatures, clearly settling on roses for the time being, I decided to open a shop to share my little beauties. Link is in my profile, for those interested. I hope to have my space here filled with lovely things!

Said this the other day.

Needs repeating:

Shop local.

Donate to local food banks and charities and schools.

Check on family and friends AND vulnerable neighbors.

Also, retirement homes.

So often in my career in nursing saw too many people were just dumped and forgotten.

Last week our local humane society took in 28 cats from a woman who had gotten in over her head with too many litters. They require a lot of care to get them healthy and adoptable - please consider a donation if you can! www.hsccvt.org/donate

I meant to post this earlier today.

It was a good reminder I needed, even though I still struggle with body image. every. single. day.

Make that 2.
Both leather hats have 12 bottles on their hat bands, each. But one has them spaced wider and that one has 3 metal conchos, while the other hat only has one.
The hat with 3 conchos has a turtle, a bear, and an octopus in the center.

I made a patreon. I’m not leaving my other socials and not planning to stop posting here. But I am interested in posting some longer form updates and possibly some writing projects.

Just a little over $2,000 left to finish the hay drive. We can do this so quickly and easily if lots of people pitch in an $8 bale!
Mayor Bonnie inspects all hay deliveries upon arrival, so you can be assured that your donations aren’t being wasted on substandard cuisine. We are getting to close to our hay drive goal! Please help us cross the finish line! donorbox.org/mmfs-2025-ha...

Can't believe how often I run into the misconception that shelter animals are all broken, deficient, or ruined in some way. The overwhelming majority of shelter animals end up there because of human circumstances, NOT because they did anything wrong.
It's getting chilly. Keep those ears warm!

A few robins enjoy feasting on what looks like juniper berries. One of the stinkers turned around, so I got the less photogenic end.
