I can’t help but think today about how many young people were savaged on social media, branded as anti-semites and abandoned by their schools for daring to call for a ceasefire. I remember saying that it was the first time I can remember that calling for ceasefire was regarded as a hostile demand.

Also President Biden did successfully negotiate two cease-fires, successfully got aid in to Gaza multiple times, and helped get nearly 100 hostages released.

If that were what they really wanted, these protesters would've supported him—and Vice President Harris.

Not true. If people were merely calling for a Ceasefire, they would have been agreed with, 100% by supporters of Israel, 80% of whom hate Nethanyahu.

But people were using Zionism as an epithet.

People wanted Israel to cease to exist.

And that as the LEAST of it.

You are upset because she did not take your words out of context. She understood you quite clearly. There is plenty of press about the Palestinian prisoners being released. You just cannot abide Jewish people having happiness for one day.

After nearly 2 years apart, Arbel Yehud and Ariel Cunio are finally reunited. The couple was kidnapped from their home on Kibbutz Nir Oz, southern Israel on Oct 7, 2023. Arbel was released in Feb, 2025. Now, after both unimaginable pain and strength, Arbel and Ariel are together again.
