#gunnm #alitabattleangel is my fave manga, I decide to make my own Gally with #papiermaché, i Will add air dry clay to it, it Will be easier to sand it, as u can also see I try to add fake eyes lashes to give her dimension. For now it s Just sole 1st steps

ALITA blew my mind in my 20s when I reconnected with comics & drawing.

My work is strongly influenced by manga, american comics and Franco-Belgian BD.
There are countless masterpieces in different styles/cultures and I’m grateful for having been able to draw from them all without complexes.

Painted up a chibi Gully/Alita. I tried to use gloss medium on the reflective clothes, hair and eyes instead of manually painting highlights, kinda curious how it will turn out.
I'll probably add highlights to the boots.

Mars Chronicles is mostly about various groups of horrible weirdos when Alita was a small child. Like obviously still lots of action, but it's more of a focus on lore. I'd say the back third of Last Order is like that too. There's at least one volume with no fights.
