Gally, Yoko and Tuned GR Series

Idea from invincible

My version of an Invencible panel showing different versions of Invencible through the multiverse but with different versions of Gally from the series Gunnm

-The first character to be seen is Gally with the tailed outfit of last order with a red backgroud
-The second character is Gally from the beginnig of motorball arc, it's inspired by the moment ido found her and she throws a cold glaze to him. The background is like the damascus blade
-The third is Alita from Gally's dream agains Desty nova, she's reading with the cat Gally on her right shoulder. The background is pink.
-The fourth is Yoko from the original ending of the series, she's stabbing someone towards us. She has a blue hallo and the background is black.
-The fifth is kid Yoko from the beginning of Last Order (I used a reference from the manga). The background is yellow and brown.
-The sixth is Yoko from last order, inspired by the scene where gally sees her on a alley. She's full of blood, crying and looking up. She has a red halo and a black background.
-The seventh is human Gally. Inspired by both verisons of human gally, she has the outfit of human gally from last order but I placed the flower gally created on the band of her neck and chest. Just as the original version she has a long hair and looks like she was freed from a liquid. The background is green and yellow.
-The heighth one is alita from the hollywood movie, I did it a bit like the scene where she sees herself on a mirror at the beginning of the movie but the hand from our side is the one from the berserk body. The background is black with a purple 99.
-The ninth is little yoko from the end of mars chronicle when she ate a sheet. The background is orange with the sheet in the middle.

This is the original invencible pannel (under every character there is the name of the gunnm characters)

-The tenth is GR-2 eating Gally's eye and holding Gally's arm. The background is dark red with a blue cut at the level of her head.
-The eleventh is GR-4 hidding her number and body and with a gun on her right hand. The backgrond is turquoise with purple motifs who represent pression.
-The twelveth and thirteenth are Sechs, the first one is the first version we saw of him with it's original body. The background has the same design as his titanium blade in purple (based on colors view in the manga). The other one is Sechs from the end of last order with his fitz body and the little sech on his shoulder. The background has the same desing but this time in blue (based on colors view in the manga).
-The fourteenth is GR-10. She has her weapon and engine to fly. She's doing a crazy face. The background is yellow and red.
-The two last ones are elf and zwolf. In contrary to others they are not separated but together (the panel is broken), they are back to back. Elf background is pink with the background divided in eleven parts while Zwolf background is purple and divided in twelve parts (reference to their threads)

I was so obsessed with this series as a child and I truly loved Raf and Sulfus and their whole relationship. Definitely need to rewatch this masterpiece.

There had to be a better way to execute that plot.

If your ship only looks good when contrasted with Gabe/Raf and Misha/Sulfus, that is not a good look.

Not only that, but Gabe and Misha are fridged and forgotten once they've served their story purpose. Kabale and Urie would stick around, because main cast characters don't vanish just because the main part of their romantic subplot ended. That could introduce some interesting character dynamics.

Partners who might be better for Raf and Sulfus than Raf and Sulfus are for each other and who some of the audience could root for.

Urie and Kabale wouldn’t be introduced out of nowhere, nor would they be in a predatory position of power over their love intrests. They’d be decent partners who Raf and Sulfus have a real emotional connection with.

Raf and Sulfus would also need to get out of relationships where the blame for the relationship not working out can’t be all pinned on one person. Misha and Gabe are automatically the ones who have to take responsibility because they're older. Creepy unprofessional levels of older.

But if we instead had two okay ships like Urie/Raf and Kabale/Sulfus, Ralfus would have a higher bar to clear and would need to prove itself as the better endgame ship. It would need to be good, not just less shit.
