Do not work for Nat. Grocers. You will be pushed yo your mental and emotional limits on a daily basis for bullshit pay from an evil evil company. Not worth it.

Also, if you can find work, even part time at a grocery store, put in a month of diligent extremely reliable and over-the-top effort. Then no one will notice the backpacks full of food you leave with every day after :)

I dunno if everywhere will work but if you ask produce dept. workers for carrot greens or wet rack cuttings for your rabbits, they'll usually hook it up.

I would get those and fat trimmings from meat departments and make soups for a while.

With SNAP/EBT cuts looming I highly recommend downloading this app! Basically restaurants and other food businesses will have available bags of random food they don’t wanna waste for ppl to buy for hella cheap! This has saved me sooooo many times when I only have $5 and need some food.

We're down to our last hundred bucks or so, with bills due, no food or house essentials, and no paycheck until next week.
