Elidibus is a meta character because what happened out of the story (we initially wrote this guy in but then the lore developed so that he didn't really make sense any more) is what happened in-story (guy who forgot what he was doing here)

in order of effort:

basmati rice w/ minced garlic and a bit of butter in rice cooker. chili crisp to desired spice lvl

a bagel with more philadelphia cream cheese on it than you've ever seen in your life

kimchi straight from the jar (or over leftover rice)

a literal wedge of sharp white cheese

Sex scenes are almost never "gratuitous" or "unnecessary." You learn things about characters and relationships during sex that you can't really learn any other way, such as whether they're into fisting.

There's a reason my police abolitionism is often expressed as "I don't call the cops because I don't want someone to roll up six hours later and shoot my dog" to folks I'm trying to warm up to the concept.

I have long believed that we should be WAY more vocal about how police and ICE constantly murder dogs, and I think this is great messaging actually.

The reality is that you can mobilize a whole lot of usually tuned-out Americans around a “someone is being mean to hecking doggos” cause.
