I don’t disavow the impact of suppression and gerrymandering. But it IS possible to show the bastards you WILL NOT be stopped, jump through their dumb ass hoops, and vote. I remember my history as a Blaxicana woman, and remain determined to NOT be silenced.

I vote in ALL elections. For 30 years. Municipal bonds, state constitutional, school board…without fail. I vote for half ass mediocre white candidates because they’re still less evil. And I do it because people bled for me to be able to it. Fk excuses. But I also know I don’t matter to this country.
