Further digging into these questions here seems like a waste of time, and is beside the point anyway: I don't know if I'd bet on it, but I certainly won't be surprised if they really do just run Trump forever and ignore the laws as they always do, assuming he lives long enough for it to matter

The other thing here is maybe just interesting to me, because my knee-jerk response to this is just like one that I got wrong about how Trump 2 would go: I didn't think it would be so egregiously and aesthetically fascist, with the secret police and so on, because that struck me as, well, dumb
