We're having work done on the house so we're staying at my parents' for at least the night and Tadhgy HATES IT and Hex is ANGRY with me but they're both very curious about the screen door. It's like a window?? But on the FLOOR?? And so BIG.

I regret visiting Hawaii not because I had a bad time—it was incredible—but because I later learned how tourism displaces Hawaiians, but I was only there a week and I cringed at this. which I've not tried before but really enjoyed! One of my chocolate chip cookies uses maple syrup but a smaller amount to help them stay soft as they cool.

of buying expensive 4oz bars and chopping them up to melt for brownies or to use in cookies, and it works out to be way cheaper per pound. But I know 22lb of chocolate is absurd 😂 They're delicious though!! I sometimes just eat them plain.

I love trying different chocolate chip cookie recipes. I use the NYT one mostly, but I have a couple other recipes I use if I want a thinner bakery-style cookie or something fast. I'm always looking for the next one so I'll definitely try it! I use these because I bake so much that I was VERY SICK
