In an interstellar burst 🐋 (she/they) I bake cookies to fund abortions and talk about ponies *a lot* and want to live in the sea. Received the (very real, universally coveted) PSB Award for Good Taste In Books. Still masking.

I made an abortion-themed mug at the request of a friend and made all proceeds benefit @reachfundct.bsky.social and SOMEONE BOUGHT ONE! REACH emailed and said they want to make the mug part of their permanent campaign so uh I think I'm a famous artist now?

It's soooooo soft because there's constantly fuzz regrowing on it and he hates when I touch it which makes me so SAD
adigoesswimming.bsky.social
Ugh seriously he's so absurd

Poor naked belly. His overgrooming is getting better with the CBD oil but it's still an issue and I'm sure this displacement isn't helping.

We're having work done on the house so we're staying at my parents' for at least the night and Tadhgy HATES IT and Hex is ANGRY with me but they're both very curious about the screen door. It's like a window?? But on the FLOOR?? And so BIG.

Award-winning pain researcher here. This is not something that can be done. Hope this helps.

I regret visiting Hawaii not because I had a bad time—it was incredible—but because I later learned how tourism displaces Hawaiians, but I was only there a week and I cringed at this. "I'm the most off-putting and entitled man alive, but these people are not welcoming because they're ~xenophobic~."

If one knows Hawaii, this article he wrote about Hawaii is absolutely devastating toward him and the many ways he is being told to fuck off by locals. I love it because he wrote it in such clueless, arrogant self absorption.

which I've not tried before but really enjoyed! One of my chocolate chip cookies uses maple syrup but a smaller amount to help them stay soft as they cool.
Oatmeal peanut butter chocolate chip cookies with pretzels and peanuts cooling on a mesh rack.

I will try to remember! I bake a lot more than I remember things 😂 Thank you for the recipes though! 💖 These are my latest cookies, I wanted peanut butter oatmeal cookies with STUFF in them and these fit the bill, as well as being interesting in that they use maple syrup as the only sweetener,

I love trying different chocolate chip cookie recipes. I use the NYT one mostly, but I have a couple other recipes I use if I want a thinner bakery-style cookie or something fast. I'm always looking for the next one so I'll definitely try it! I use these because I bake so much that I was VERY SICK

They're really good!! We were right to do so!! Definitely my favorite Arthurian series for adults. (The Dark is Rising is my absolute favorite, even though it's not the main storyline.)

Yes! We just got him from a rescue a week ago. He's such a love.

According to the VET, I should've said. He was a very charming little baby and everyone loved him and he didn't even notice his shot and was a perfect angel for his nail trim. See the reply for a space boy photo.

They are terrified of the No Kings rallies and doing everything they can to discredit them.

If you're on the fence about going, just think of how much it'll piss off these assholes.

THE LORD OF THE WOOD releases in July 2026, from @hanoversquarepress.bsky.social! #author

preorder now: gatheringvolumes.com/item/44euZQq...
the cover of E.M. Anderson's The Lord of the Wood, framed in gold with gold flowers against a dark teal background around the edges. The cover is teal with a stag of flowers and foliage growing from a twisted tree with flowers growing around it and black ooze dripping from a branch overhead. the title "The Lord of the Wood" is in large white serif text to the left, with foliage growing through the letters closest to the tree, and the author "E.M. Anderson" is in all-caps yellow text at the bottom. the tagline, in smaller yellow text, reads, "Even a beastly woodland protector needs saving..." "When lonely clockmaker Arthur Throckmorton loses his way in an enchanted forest, he meets the hero of his childhood bedtime stories: the Lord of the Wood. But instead of the mythical figure of his dreams, the Lord of the Wood is a grim man turning into a beast and losing power over a dying forest. If they can’t save the forest before he becomes a beast completely, Arthur will lose the man he's falling for—and never see his family again." Text is in a textbox against a murky image of a forest, with the cover of E.M. Anderson's The Lord of the Wood below the text, all against a dark teal background with gold curlicues in the corners. The cover of E.M. Anderson's The Lord of the Wood on a dark teal background with golden leaves overhead, surrounded by yellow text reading: plant magic; sentient forest trying to oops! murder people; intensely homoerotic shaving scene; the one who heard the stories and the one who was in the stories; hopeless romantic who's clueless about his own sexuality; Beauty & the Beast inspired by not a retelling; dual-POV brother/sister; love interest turning slowly into a beast; wound-tending.
