Slightly embarrassingly, I have discovered that this is actually a quote from the Hobbit films and not Tolkien. Point stands though. Aragorn was a man of Gondor, and Tommy Robinson is an orc.

I have removed my name and photo from here due to the intimidation tactics used by our flag loving friends. It's not just social media, there have been very real and recent reprisals.

I'm involved in a flag removal campaign in my town (it's very successful too). Here, it has been a group of around 8 men putting flags on lampposts, most of whom actually live here. Similar to you, not many flags on houses. And the majority of people have been grateful for the flag removal.
