Welcome new followers! I am Abbaetha. I mostly follow historians, academics, authors and bookish types, crafters, and cooks. My feed is mostly breads, cakes, books, and crafts, which continues the theme. I like a quiet peaceful corner and that’s the goal of this account. No cat, but ferrets.
A ferret sacked out falling out of a green bed. The floor is a galaxy pattern and there are other patterned beds around her.

Yeah. It’s the execution that can be problematic.

I haven’t seen her in anything but Fringe (for no good reason I stopped watching much TV a while ago) but it was great and she was fantastic in it.

Yeah, agree. One of my challenges when I go home is that my mom always wants to try new recipes on us and then dinner is hours late etc. oh well, we snack.

I have the most insanely visual imagination so I have to be very careful. 😁

Yeah, happens all the time to me. I just try not to cook new stuff for guests but for the rest I experiment and learn.

THEY ARE NOT MY JEROTT AND MUST NOT BECOME MY JEROTT

This is of critical importance. Perfectly happy to look at them disassociated from Jerott. 😉

It would be funny if he tried to blow smoke in her face but the cig got swamped.

Cough. Seems like I should update more often. Thank you for the tip.

Huh don’t see it but I will explore and thank you! Probably need to update.

Jokes are KEY for public speaking and yes after lunch is a challenge. I forgive you because you had to keep them interested but I still scrolled fast.

On vacations I’m very much a you-do-you person but it is not a preference I understand.

I once priced a Disney vacation for 4 out of curiosity (my vacation preferences are more towards mountain hikes/roman ruins etc) and they are PRICEY.

Humpf. You know I scrolled past those pictures faster than the speed of light. Other than that I really appreciated both pieces, and am so glad that I can now read them.

I read your Marthe piece AND your Jerott piece! Food for thought.

I want to write something on AG and L. I’m actually somewhat serious about that. Is there an index of WG that would show me if it’s been done?

If there is a biting insect it will find me, forsaking all others.

It is not a quality I appreciate in myself.

Oh delightful. Off to pre-order as soon as I can!

Also, I'm so chuffed to be able to share the cover for Tiny Moments of Joy: Spotted on Market Day in Aotearoa New Zealand, which will be coming out in paperback and ebook on the 11th of November this year.

All further details to come soon!

Huge thanks for your lovely encouragement this past year!❤️
You're looking at a damask pink... maybe soft red cover with the words Tiny Moments of Joy written in a serif font in white and orange. Above that are the words: Spotted on Market Day in Aotearoa New Zealand in a white sans serif font and the name George Penney is below in the same font. The cover has a border of pale ferns that are mostly white or a paler colour than the cover. You know looking at this cover that you will need a comfy chair, maybe a snoozing lap cat or dog and a sunny or warm spot to read this book. It's that kind of vibe.

I probably vote Yorkshire gold too. Good comfort cuppa.

The mess situation is definitely dialed up to 11.
