Aland Etienne, a proud @32bjseiu.bsky.social member, cared deeply about his city and put his life on the line to protect New Yorkers.

I’m proud to introduce the Aland Etienne Safety & Security Act to ensure security officers have the fair pay, support, and training they've always deserved.

Today we honor the service and sacrifice of the 32BJ members we lost on 9/11.
We honor and remember all who were lost that day and thank all who showed up in our city’s darkest hour.

We remember them.
We honor them.
We carry them with us.

From the rubble rose resilience. From the pain, unity.

Welcomed by 32BJ Executive VP Kevin Brown, @MayorWu.boston.gov spoke in Spanish to about 150 building cleaners, airport workers, and other 32BJ members about facing an administration that is attacking Boston because this city is the proof of how their divisive ideology "no es correcta."
Thanks to @MayorWu.boston.gov — our endorsed candidate for Boston Mayor — for coming out to speak at our District 615 member meeting today, and for standing up for the rights of ALL Boston residents "to call this city home."
