2/3 The feedback process at Automattic is BROKEN by design. There is no employee evaluation process. Feedback is not enforced/many team leads fail to do it at all.
The "inflated feedback" claim is just spin to try to keep up the pretense that senior leadership has a clue.

I wouldn’t go that far, but we did call it the Matt Mullenweg Survivor Support Group for a while. Once you’re out of Automattic you realize how much manipulation and BS you’ve been thru. Quite healing to learn you’re not alone.
