I think you’re spot-on. The earth we grow from shapes every thorn, tendril and flower we form. If we’re fortunate & get a sunny spot, we might forget where our roots are, but we shouldn’t. Thanks for this (& for indulging the flowery metaphor!) #workingclasswriters
