MusiKAL Shawl by Stephen West
It has a lot of fun techniques and color play. I loved the squiggles and the triangle stripes. There is no balance or cohesion. I would not knit this again.

I small amount of progress was made in the last two days. To be honest it’s been hard finding time to knit, life has been so busy and my mental health has taken a hit. Knitting & crochet are the only things holding me together right now.

I discovered a huge mistake so I had to start again on scallop 1 of the #westknitsmkal2025 #musikal2025
All I can say the 2nd time was not a charm. It took me too many restarts to get the brioche right & way long to get my head around the rest.
Scallop 2 will commence Thursday.

October = MKAL time. I skipped a year and wanted to make up for it by not only knitting from a mystery pattern but also buying a mystery yarn kit. The orange one is not what I would have picked, but this year I'm all about trusting the process.
