Trumpist editorial yet from the WaPo, America’s worst newspaper.
ACA is horrible and must go away, they say. To be replaced with… they don’t say. Just let people go without health care, I suppose.
What wankers. www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/202...

The failed DNC needs an emergency war council. Now.
Wapo: “Americans see the president and the two political parties as out of touch with their lives. But Democrats are judged most harshly. While 63 percent of Americans see Trump as out of touch, 68 percent say the Democrats are out of touch.”

Most Americans disapprove the president’s handling of top issues, and a majority say he has gone too far in exercising his powers.

Every day is another constitutional crisis🤦♂️.
“The last word that I gave to the admiral is I hope you recognize the constitutional peril that you are in, and the peril you are putting our troops in,” Moulton said.
Also, sorry it’s a WaPo article. Fuck Bezos.

That so many Americans are struggling to make ends meet is definitely the fault of Donald Trump, Mike Johnson, and John Thune. Trump + MAGA owns this shutdown.
Here's a gift link to the current WaPo analysis of the cause/effect of Trump's recklessness.

Was bored and accidentally started reading a wapo editorial board piece, just a bunch of crazy lies about Obamacare and then the suggestion that we use AI and high deductible plans to fix health insurance for good
Was not expecting their fall to be so swift and severe

I am so glad I cancelled my subscription to the WaPo. While there are still pockets of adequate journalism, it has largely been hollowed out, and the editorial side has become a joke. The latest piece on the ACA is perfect example. No mention of the trillion $+ tax cut for billionaires like Bezos.

Bezos owned WAPO has lost credibility for most of us. Lots of resignations of editors, cartoonists and more because of his interference. Don't think what they have to say mattered much at all on how people voted. Betting the 1/3 that didn't vote at all are not subscribers.

🧵 Trump admin is "doing a Libya"—claiming that US maritime strikes don't constitute "hostilities" under the War Powers Resolution and thus that law's 60-day limit on hostilities doesn't apply.
