I actually don't mind the jank framerate. SotC on a CRT has a dream-like quality that I really enjoy. The visuals, sparse text, and VO make it feel like a game I dreamt up. It's not difficult but there an opaqueness to the way information is given.

I am not a huge NIN fan.
But the fact that its selling out also doesn't shock me.
Tron being something like Blood Machine, where you show up for the score & the visuals are just there to enhance the music makes sense.
If only they hadn't cast Leto.

I feel like I have a fair number of unpopular opinions about video games, but I feel very alone in saying SotC is mid.
It’s not terrible: breathtaking visuals, music, spectacle, absolutely worth playing through once!
But it is VERY clunky to control and no horse has ever angered me more than Agro

I think the perfect Pokémon game would be if they mixed the visuals, gameplay style/ui of the ZA/Arceus games, with the exploration and scope of a mainline Pokémon game. I want that so so badly, because I’m LOVING Z-A so much but all it’s missing is the exploration/scope factor.

A slasher film that takes its time. Long, long sequences following the killer walking the woods through calm scenery followed by some of the most ridiculous kills I've ever seen.
The sound design in this is absolutely incredible. You could almost watch it with no visuals.

huge improvements over SV. new combat system is great, characters and story are really fucking good, banging OST, new megas are (mostly) rly good, fun progression and gameplay loop

Yes, the written text in anything that also provides visuals (games, comics, movies) is essential, but without something that complements it what's even the fucking point
