A tall and thin green being. It seems to be capable of draining blood using its six, needle-tipped suction cup fingers.

Frederick seemed to imply the entity is of extraterrestrial origin, guessing that a deep humming sound he'd heard after it ran off to be the sound of the being's ship.
[Top Section] Veggieman; Alternate Name: Vegetable Man; Region: West Virginia, U.S.A. [Middle Section] A tall, lanky, green humanoid with a plant-like body. Its feet are large, and each hand ends in a set of three needle-tipped suction cup fingers. Its nose and ears are long and pointed, and a shock of a hair-like formation crops out from a small section at the top of its head. Accompanied by descriptive text. A strange entity resembling a humanoid with plant-like features encountered in the woods by Jennings Frederick in 1968. Frederick heard it first, then found it in a weakened state. Its speech was fast, yet he still understood through mysterious means. It claimed to come peacefully, and was in need of medical assistance. It then drained some of Frederick's blood using its fingers before speeding away. Over 7 ft (2.1m) tall, its fingers are 7 in. (17.8cm) long. Its eyes, normally yellow, can rotate, oscillating between yellow and red in a hypnotic manner. Seemingly used this to distract from the pain as it sucks blood. Painting of an alleged cryptid, widely presumed to be an alien, reported to have been encountered in West Virginia. Its described as a plant like humanoid with a tall, thin, spindly body and reedy limbs, pointed ears, eyes that oscillate between yellow and red, and having fingers that end in thorny needle-like protrusions and also suction cups, enabling it to latch onto a person and suck their blood. Despite this fearsome feature, the Vegetable Man or Veggie Man is characteristically described as having said telepathically that it needed help.
