I'm not sure whether to be more concerned that they can't keep a 7ft car in a 10ft lane or if they intentionally only almost hit my elbow. Truck too big for your britches? GTFO. 😠 also #trafficengineers, this is what drivers are.

If you can believe it, SDOT's planning documents call for this intersection of Nickerson & 15th Ave. W. to be even worse (but it doesn't have to be that way).

One could probably take the sidewalk going the other way, but more slowly and/or at more risk of drivers pulling in and out without expecting. Would be nice if #trafficengineers had some infrastructure ideas besides painting a bike lane between two truck lanes. #barburblvd #odotgtfopdx
