First User: I've never been to Las Vegas but I love it in concept because it sounds so made up. Imagine if you were reading a fantasy novel and they were like "Smack in the middle of a deadly inhospitable desert there is a glittering city of indulgence and lawlessness and cheap sin that has specifically engineered itself to obfuscate your sense of time and keep you there as long as possible while they take your valuables." You'd be like, yeah, that's some wizard shit. Second user: Places to add to my next DnD campaign: Las Vegas User torchlake: I'm running a DnD campaign with my siblings and mom, who are all big MythBusters fans, so obviously I made Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage NPCs. Adam is a human and Jamie (JAM13) is a robot. Adam claims to have built JAM13, and is not satisfied with is inability to emote properly, but is very satisfied with is walrus-like facial hair. JAM13, however, claims to have grown Adam from a test tube and named him after the biblical figure, and says he is "clearly a very primitive approximation of a human being". Insight checks on who is lying are useless because both of them fully believe they're telling the truth. User the-weaver-of-worlds: You're doing the Gods' work, my dude User wingwisher: We've found strange geometries, clearly artificial, spreading out great distances from the structures. The structures themselves are rather dull beyond having row after row of messages in various written languages. These were a treasure trove of knowledge as each language appeared to have the same message warning of a powerful and dangerous force trapped underground. Clearly whoever built these believed in some great curse and was devoted enough to stopping it to gather as many languages as they could to warn any who might come after. User derinthesarcletpescatarian: This is a huge win for the linguists. We should dig around the site some more and see if we can find any more languages. User undeadentropy: Can you imagine how honorable this place is? Probably a lot. Look at all those languages and all that architecture.
